When I first started reading Keith’s book, I couldn’t put it down. I think I read 80% of it in one sitting. It’s very clear that Keith has put so much time and effort into writing this book – it’s concise but feels comprehensive and detailed, factual and scientific, and reader-friendly (also, it’s a bargain for what you’re getting). I was already very familiar with a lot of the information on digestion and hormones (big fan of Dr Ray Peat) but Keith marries this info with functional medicine. Because of the information in this book, I went to see Keith for back pain and his knowledge about pain and movement blew me away.

If you’re already familiar with the importance of keeping our thyroid and hormones happy and functioning well (and the ripple effect this has on every bodily function) and/or if you’re interested in a perhaps, different but completely scientific approach and perspective on hormone health or rather, long-term overall health – this book is a brilliant read and a great resource to have. I know I will be going back to it again and again.

Whatever diet you are in or issues you’ve got – digestion, energy, hormonal imbalance – PCOS, hypothyrodism, mood swings, PMS, pregnancy & post partum, etc, this valuable book will teach you how to get into the cellular level of your issues and you will see that being healthy need not be complicated. Simple eating habits or little tweaks in your diet can change your hormonal situation.

I am a vegan of 7 years and I wasn’t felt threatened! In fact, I’ve found a better way to be a vegan from the information I’ve read in here!

This book will offer you very simple and practical solutions that your doctor or therapist did not tell you. We’ve been given a myopic view of finding solutions to our health issues in both internal and external aspect. We have been lied to most of the time.

Know the 6 markers that define good health, 4 key things to do to have a real change on your current situation, and many other useful information that Keith has given away from his 2 decades of experience and studies in pain, movement, energy, digestion and now endocrinology (where he is a master’s degree student).
You’ll take away research-based, first-hand experience, easy to understand, & practical recommendations.

Save your time, money, and energy from reading health books, self-help books, articles, etc. Save your money from buying a lot of health supplements that you don’t really need and that could even be creating disturbances on your endocrine system. Save your money from taking that expensive food allergy test.
Be informed and don’t let diet fads, media hype, scaremongers, self-proclaimed guru sweet-talk you through or shield you from real information. Transformation is a personal responsibility and not by some agency. This book will empower you to make positive changes that could impact your overall well-being and reverse many of the symptoms you are experiencing. In this high-tech, fast paced, complicated era, I didn’t realize how easy it could be!

This is one of those few perspective life changing books that you come across. Excellent book that dispels many of the myths and dogma that pervades the fitness and health industry.

Happy Hormones is a very detailed and easy-to-understand way on how our diets affect us on a cellular level. Keith Littlewood provides the best explanation on why so many modern foods cause a problem from weight gain to hormone imbalance, and why it is literally creating disease within our cells.

This book offers excellent information and advice on why so many people fall into the trap of these so called miracles wonders, with clever marketing strategies and fails to improve digestion and hormone balance.

What is very important about this book is it’s written by someone who has first-hand experience of many of the fad diets that currently pervade popular culture (paleo, low carb, low sugar, fasting etc) and are contributing to the degeneration of the health of many people.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is remotely interested in achieving LONG TERM health. It is not a quick fix or another ‘diet book.’ It provides easy to understand facts and science, and easy ways to apply what you have learnt.
